Hey guys, it has been a laid-back day here on this Saturday. The shopping at the market was pretty painless :) There was lots of really nice stuff that there was no way we could have brought it home on the plane though.
Just a quick heads up. We got a message from the lady at the MP's office telling us that she has been in contact with the immigration side of things here in Nairobi and that she is doing all that she can for us. We ask that those who have and are thinking about calling her on our behalf (which we are so thankful for friends and family who care enough to do this for us) to please let her do her job. We will let you know if it comes to the point of having to call in. But again thanks for caring. We appreciate you all and we know that you have our backs there at home.
The time difference here is 9 hours. It is 9 pm here right now and it is noon back home in Alberta.
Bless you all, and we can't wait to be home with you all again.

ReplyDeleteWe are praying for you and thanks for the warning about trying to call others to help. I just tried to get in contact with you know who...Ok it doesn't matter if I put his name out here because he has admitted as much to the public about is ID, yes I tried to call Ironman but he is out of the country right now. When he calls back I will let him know that we just need to wait on this situation for now. Batman and Wolverine did however call back and when I told them about your situation Batman got so mad he flexed his muscles and tore his Bat suit requiring a call back and Wolverine must have sliced his phone in anger because the line went violently dead. Captain kirk called back as well I told him to hold off on action right now and he informed me that they couldn't help right now because the transporters are down and the shuttle bay doors are not working right now.
I guess well just have to forget about super heros right now and depend on God.

Hey you guys you know that I will help in whatever phone calls you need just say the word and I will help out also. Isn't it amazing how much boogers that can come out of a child. If the boogers are runny and clear there is nothing to worry about. If they turn greenish color then that is usually a sign of sinus infection. Hope his nose is clearing up but if it is getting red and sore from being wiped try to use a damp paper towel or cloth it will help. It was nice to hear that you guys finally had a layed back day. You guys don't worry about bringing things back as suveneirs the best and only gift that I want(along with everyone else) is that you guys come home. Ali asked me to let you know that she misses you Marcy and that she has joined our group and is praying for you guys. Just a little bit of Alberta information we have been getting down to zero for the last couple of nights and our predicted high on Monday will be 10 degrees. It snowed in the Pass saturday and has been raining. We got 1 1/2 inches of rain saturday and sunday. How hot is it out there. I am sure you are getting tired of hearing this but it dopes not change the fact the I miss you and can not wait till you are home. When you come back Marcy we have to get together so that we can have a good laugh, it is chuckle free at work most of the time. Mike give Marcy and Jaxon a big hug from me. My prayers are with you

ReplyDeleteIt is COLD here. I thought a trip to Africa included a tan. NOT!!! I have been wearing a jacket. Irakoze has been wearing his hoodie - thanks Bev and Kurt. It has come in handie.
