Thats it for another week

Well, we got Jaxon's passport today and picked up the translated copies. Unfortunately we were a little late getting to the notary (there is only one in Kigali and they close early on Fridays). Have to wait until Monday now.

Jaxon is having a great day. I prayed throughout the night that the wall between him and Marcy would break and it seems that today Jaxon rounded the corner. He has been running too her and loving her. I am soooo happy to see it, as does she. Thank you again Lord!

We posted a few more pictures. Have to say we are getting a little home sick for Canadian food. Not much variety here.

Tomorrow we may try the local pool if it is a hot day.

Thank you for your prayers. Continue praying for immigration we want to get home as soon as possible.
Adios for now.

  1. Hey Guys!

Here are the names of a few very, very good restaurants. There is the "Indian Khazana", the best authentic Indian food EVER! There is also "Shanghai", the best authentic Chinese food EVER! You could also try a place called "New Cactus", they have a really great variety. Apparently the pizzas and salads are awesome but Dean and I have only ever had the fondue which is really great. Baylee says that the lasagna there is amazing. If you want to have a variety of African food you could go to "Karibu", it is a buffet and quite inexpensive. Hopefully this will help with the food variety a bit.

The pictures are awesome, thanks so much for posting them!

I will definately keep praying for speediness in all the beaurocratic stuff.

    Blessings to you all,
    kathy

  3. I was so happy that Jaxon is warming up to Marcy. I love the pictures but who is Nzamywe? Now that I have seen pictures of you holding him - he is so small. He still looks like a very serious little guy and I can imagine some of the laughter that will be happening at you home. I have been praying all weekend that you will get the passport done today and that you will have good news and the visa will come soon.
